Defence Headquarters has released the names and ranks of 16 military officers
According to official military reports, the Defence Headquarters has released the names and ranks of 16 military officers who are to face trial in connection with an alleged coup attempt against President Bola Tinubu.
The officers, drawn from the Nigerian Army, Navy, and Air Force, were indicted after an internal investigation panel reportedly found they have cases to answer. The military has stressed that the matter remains subject to due process, and the officers are presumed innocent until proven otherwise.
