The Nigerian Army has dismissed a soldier, identified as Mansur Adamu

The Nigerian Army has dismissed a soldier, identified as Mansur Adamu (service number 22NA/82/3795), for allegedly leaking a video of a deadly Boko Haram IED attack in Borno State. 
The video showed the aftermath of an explosion near Gubio that killed several soldiers. Military sources confirmed the dismissal and emphasized that leaking classified information is strictly punished. 
The attack occurred on January 12, when soldiers travelling from Maiduguri struck IEDs planted by Boko Haram. At least nine soldiers were confirmed dead, with several others injured. 
The affected troops belonged to the 145 Battalion, Damasak, under 5 Brigade in Maiduguri
