About 80 militantts in Cross River State have given up their weap0ns and accepted the government’s amnesty and peace program.
They came out from the creeks in Akpabuyo after months of military pressure and talks with community leaders.

Two milit@ntt  camps disbanded themselves, led by ThankGod Ebikontei (Ayibanuagha) and John Isaac (Akpokolo).
More fighters are still expected to surrender.
This is seen as a big step toward peace and ending militancy in the area.
