Prayer of Protection against the Terrorists

Protection is on our minds daily. In a world filled with hatred, anger, and violence, how should we respond? Our children and families are at risk, and we shoulder the responsibility for their security. What can we do to shield them from harm? How can we enlist God’s help for their protection and safety?

God has ordained prayer as the vital force we can all use to guard us and our loved ones from the evil around us. If that’s your desire, here are several prayers for protection that might help you voice your thoughts to God.

1)  Psalm 9:9-10 
You, Lord, are a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
Those who know Your name trust You, O Lord, because You have never deserted those who seek Your help. We pray against every terrorist’s attack, that none of my friends and relatives and families should be a victim. In Jesus Name. Amen

2)  Psalm 16:1 NIV
Keep me safe, my God, for in You I take refuge. Oh Lord in You do I take refuge protect me against the terrorists. Me, relatives and my families in Jesus Name. Amen

3)  Psalm 17:8 NIV
Keep me as the apple of Your eye; hide me in the shadow of Your wings. Lord hide me in your wings whenever there is a terror attack and let none of my relatives and families be attacked. in Jesus Name. Amen

4)  Psalm 23:4 NIV
Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Lord be with me always so that I can go out and coming, no matter the danger ahead shields and protect me. Help me to remove fear wherever I am going out from place or moving from place to place. I totally rely on your protective arm in Jesus Name,

5)  Psalm 32:7 NIV
You are my hiding place; You will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Fill my heart with joy whenever I am afraid. Let the guardian angels guide me and protect me whenever I am feeling afraid. May every be joyful as I can only hear the news about terrorists but cannot be a victim because You are my protection and shield. Be my hiding place always. In Jesus Name.

6)  Psalm 57:1 NIV
Have mercy on me, O God, have mercy, for in You my soul takes refuge. I will take refuge in the shadow of Your wings until the danger has passed. Let me found refuge in your wings until the terrorists attack is over. Even when they are around me, blindfold them not to see me and none of my relatives and family should be a victim. In Jesus Name.

7)  Psalm 121:5-8 NIV
Lord, watch over me against the terrorists— You are the shade at my right hand; the sun will not harm me by day, nor the moon by night so shall the terrorists will not harm in the day and in the night. You will keep me from all harm that come from the terrorists—You will watch over my life; You will watch over my coming and going both now and forevermore.

8)  Psalm 91:1-7 NIV
Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of You, Lord, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.” Surely You will save me from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. You will cover me with Your feathers, and under Your wings I will find refuge; Your faithfulness will be my shield and rampart. I will not fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. A thousand may fall at my side, ten thousand at my right hand, but it will not come near me. Our Father in heaven, give the grace to abide in You shelter always, so that I can be protected from the arrow that flies by day which is the work of the terrorists and their devices which are fowler’s snare and the deadly pestilence, that waste life at noonday and also at night. Let the terror attack never comes to my city and none near me. Protect all the means of transportation which I am involved from the hands of the terrorists. I pray in the Name of Jesus Amen.

9)  From the Lord’s Prayer, Matthew 6:13
Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.  Heavenly, provide my needs that I will be from wrong decision that will lead me to temptation. Help me to live up to expectation that will keep me far from evil. Lead me not into anything they will be to meet the terrorist. Let be free always from meeting the terrorists, As they are in front I will be at the back and as they are at back I will be in front. None of them should meet me either by day or by night.

10)  Romans 8:31, 37-39 NIV
If God is for us, who can be against us? … . We are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Keep me always in your love and nothing will be able to separate me from Your love and promises of protection and I will be protect from the hands of the terrorists. I am rest assured that you are there with me because of Your love. I am fully protected from the hands of the terrorists and none of their evil attack will reach me. Keep me always in Your Hands. In Jesus Name. Amen

Pray these portions of scripture as often as necessary, and you will probably find your fear easing and your strength increasing.
