Outgoing 8 Division GOC, Maj. Gen. Ibikunle Ajose, said over 1,000 kidnappp victims were rescued, 200+ weapons recovered, and band!t networks disrupted in North-West Nigeria during his 18-month tenure.
He also credited welfare and infrastructure improvements in barracks, while his successor, Maj. Gen. Bemgha Koughna, praised the division’s performance.
